This week I did a couple of pieces that incorporate some element of detail and I cut them in two. It was interesting to learn about when and how to cut them. I also used a mixture of several clays, so who knows what the final outcome will be.
I plan to illustrate a starry sky inside the sculpture with the ears. I’ll figure out something else for the piece with the hand.
I noticed later that the page I did before sculpting these was sort of cut in two as well.
