Here are some images of my latest sculpture. I had decided to expand on where I left off previously. This one has a hollow bust area (you can see newspaper through the larger holes near the heart and shoulder). This one also has some very raw areas with lots of sculptural marks from my fingers. That’s not typical for me to do, but I am liking it. There are also areas where the texture gets very rough and I feel like, rather than just having a rough surface texture, the texture moves and creates space on the surface and exposes the interior.
