I am working on drawing/assemblage for my show. I am doing portraiture in shadow boxes. (That’s the short story). I am shooting for seven large pieces for my MFA show.
I have all of the frames I will need (as far as I know). I am finished constructing four of them, need to finish painting two of those. Four still need to be built and painted.
I have done a bunch of research for my Literature Review. I still want to get to the library this week.
My research has informed my direction. I also just decided to go back to my original sketches, which were much more surreal and symmetrical in composition.
