Whether I “Can” or “Cannot” really does not matter. Not if I’m talking about making art, or overcoming a debilitating CRPS or EDS flare up. I need to focus on what I “Can” do at that moment, and place my “Cannot” where it belongs. Problem is, it can be really hard.
When I hear myself say I “Cannot” I have to do an emotions check. I have to ask myself if I am being emotional about the situation and if so what is God’s will for me. I have to check with God, because I can get myself in trouble when I make decisions out of extreme emotion. This process can take me seconds, months, or years depending on the “Cannot” issue.
Just a thought…
